When LG is not just a brand
It’s been 3 weeks since we’ve been here in PJ (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia) and I have been adapting to Shegar’s hectic schedule. Although last week I almost fainted at a train station (let’s save this story for another time haha), it wasn’t actually occupational hazard. That was just me being dumb by not having dinner the previous night and breakfast the following morning.
We’re getting ourselves familiarised with this new place. We walked about 15 minutes to get ourselves to the laundry down the road, which is a nice street with big houses and vintage cars to gawk at.
We found our way to WonderMilk again, a place my friend Edwin brought us to once in May. I love that place for it’s, well, milk! They have flavoured milk either way you like it; hot or cold. WonderMilk will have its own entry by itself soon.
In the past weeks, we’ve been to Mutiara Damansara for umpteenth times. That’s where the Curve, Ikea, Ikano and Cineleisure are at. Shopping malls in Malaysia don’t use the term ‘basement’. Although we’ve known this fact, it’s still a concept we’re slowly grasping. We’ve been so used to B1, B2, B3 that going G (Ground or the 1st level in SG), LG (Lower Ground or Basement 1) or P1 (Parking 1) is something we need to getting used to.
We’ve watched 3 movies (The Proposal, Ghost of Girlsfriends’ Past & Talentime) in 2 weeks, all at Cineleisure Damansara. Once, after Talentime, the Wan actually forgot about his laptop bag! We zoomed through Ikea & Ikano so many times to pick up items for the spa Shegar is working on and dined at the Curve.
In this short time, Shegar has been very generous accommodating us. We’ve been getting more comfortable here, truly.
Mak, Ayah, here’s where Adik stays in PJ..

It’s a simple white house on the exterior and actually most of the interior too. Mak, you’ll love the grassed area for your flowers & other plants. And I’m sure Ayah would love to walk to the not-so-near-but-walkable-distance mosque. But of course, it’s not like it’s MY place hurhurhur.
That’s all for now, folks. I’ll be updating again soon, insyaAllah. Here’s us recently (actually it’s just a mandatory self-photo of ourselves heh!).

PlayPause is the brain child of my husband & myself; our graphics/web design business.
