When someone cute came to visit
We slept late after subuh yesterday and woke up towards the afternoon with the googoogaga of a baby in the hall. It was such a lovely surprise to see this cutey!

I went crazy trying to complete Badoque’s official website as well as it’s blog page. I also squeezed in some time to go for a housewarming and a kids’ party over the 2 days. Here are some photos from the housewarming @ Ann & James in Bishan. We were the last people to arrive – thanks to Stef’s bus-journey which took about 80mins to arrive! Hahaha but it was all good when the Wan arrived later and we hauled over the half-left-over food (cos apparently Ann & James catered for 30pax but only 10 ate!) to Yishun.

On Sunday, Dino with only Nardyne, together with Din picked us up from Toa Payoh to head on over to Aloha Loyang for Rashid’s boy’s 1st Birthday party.

Since Rashid has moved to Dubai, we rarely get to see him and of course, his son Amil Kaizer, too. Ocassionally, when he’s home in Dubai, he’d let me see Amil via the webcam. Once in June 08, I did a screenshot of them. And today, I managed to see Amil again. It’s been 6 months and boy, he’s grown. Don’t say anything that you notice is similar in both pictures ok? *giggles*

Shhhhh, don’t tell Rashid we noticed he is wearing the same tee in both pictures..
Weekend starts as early as Thursday. A dinner ala chichilala before Imran went back to KL for the rest of the year. It was a night that ended in the darkness of the morning. It was fun to do that once in awhile. But whenever we get together, it seems our conversation can start from as close as Tanah Merah all the way to the land of no return. Okay, kidding. But you know what I mean.

Friday felt like a Saturday when I became the psuedo mom for a day. I brought Asfa out with his pram and met up with Fau & baby Dahlia to have a day out in the Airport. We started with T3 and ended our day in T2 viewing gallery where we bumped into Dino & Lyn with baby Nardyne.

I forgot that SITEX was at the Expo and when the train from the Airport stopped at Tanah Merah, I got flustered by the people trying to get into the train that bounces back to the Expo. The platform was too crowded and there was no way I could get into an empty train. I totally forgot about the fact that I could bounce up the Pasir Ris way to get seats or at least better space. In wanting to get out of the crowded station, I exited quickly, rushing unconsciously. It was only when Asfa mentioned, “Mama Ain! Laju nya!” at the speed I was pushing his pram, I realised that I was going at a speed as if I was being chased.
From Tanah Merah, I took the cab down to Raffles City where the Wan was waiting for us. Asfa fell asleep on my lap after a series of banging on the cab door to his own rhythmic sound. He missed the Singapore Flyer where the traffic stood still and I managed to snap a picture to show him much later. When we arrived at Raffles City, the noise from the performance they were having on the third floor woke Asfa up. Though my intention was only to change his diapers and make a bottle of milk for him, we had to distract him with the toy fair because he refused to lay down to change his diapers. In the end, we spent some money on 3 new cars and didn’t change his diapers at all.

The Wan didn’t have enough of Asfa that he is now asking me if it is even a possible thought to have Asfa home with us for just one day. After a long pause, he took a deep breath.
I know what it meant even if I didn’t force him to say what he was thinking about. One day, soon. Definitely maybe, baby. <3
Okay, I have to get over the negativities. It’s a brand new week and I have so much more to complete/do and need to brighten up my whole week. I hope my Monday plan will work out with Nadrah and it’ll continue on for a long period of time. I need it.
Anyhow, over the weekend, it was Raya visiting again. But, not as extensive as previous weekend, and that’s quite a good thing; less tiring.
On Saturday, we took the whole day to recover from lethargicness of the whole week and finally only went out of the house in the evening. We went to Fau’s place at Yishun and met up with cute babies. Okay, I think toddlers lah cos they are learning how to toddle already.

Dahlia cannot stay still for the cam

Danny who is such a charm
Dahlia is such a geram lor. Tak boleh diam sekejap for the camera. Nasib baik aku tak rebus. Danny ni, peha dia best. If only aku boleh gigit. Hahaha thanks to Danny’s parents biarkan kita rolling to take photos with their son.
Drown me in baby dust, now!!! Hahahaha
Sunday was quite low-key since we had class in the afternoon. We only managed to follow my parents to one house and then Dad drove us to Wan’s niece’s place in Punggol. We spent a few hours there with her children, watching tv and eating of course! As we didn’t bring our camera along, we’ll have to wait for her to put up her photos for us to steal them away!
So I’ll add another digit to my age by the turn of midnight. I have been apprehensive about turning 27. Perhaps because I had told myself once, that I should be at least having 2 children by the time I’m 30. Look, I’m not even pregnant yet now that I’m going to be 27.
It’s quite a disappointment whenever a pregnancy test kit is bought and each time, a negative result stared right back at you.
But who am I kidding? I know I have a health situation, so there’s no reason to be disappointed actually. Then again, who am I kidding, right?
Earlier today I met my Endocrine doctor. When I showed him my menstrual cycle chart, he was as confused as I am with my irregular cycle. He noted my weight loss and congratulated me in having to successfully lost a lot of weight in the 4-month span since I last saw him. He urged me to keep up my good work and try to lose more weight, preferably hitting the 60s. I retorted, “I’m targetting the 50s”, and he gave me this smile and start to explain to me about hitting the plateau. Oh well, at least I have seen my own results.
So while my husband and I are still trying to get a bun baking in the oven, we would still need to chart the days down to spot for regularity. I hope the regularity comes soon. At least if I don’t get my birthday gift, I do hope my birthday wish will at least be able to give ourselves a lovely gift by our 2nd anniversary.
Allah, please grant us that miracle. Amin.
I’m all set to leave the house now, after our night prayers. I have never really celebrated my birthday at the stroke of midnight. So this will be my first time haha. Yea yea, call me a geek. I’m going on a date with my Wan and only love.
Happy Birthday, Zee!
