The woman
Moved on from Pitas (2001) to Multiply (2005) to WordPress (2008), finally.
Ambidextroustious freak that’s quite a scatterbrain. Married to her only love of her life, Irwan on 17th Feb 2007. Working from home while trying to be a housewife at the same time.
Yearning for an offspring.

I have never been a simple girl and I’ve grown to be much more complicated in this fast-paced country they call Little Red Dot on the world map. I was born and has since been living in Singapore.
Having to be the ‘boy’ in a household of all-girl siblings, I was the blacksheep and rebelled minutely in my own ways. The love of music started vividly when my eldest sister bought an acoustic guitar home when I was 14. I started learning on my own and started writing poems to lyrics, having influenced by my very poetic mother. I earned very good friends in the rhythmic world. Boredphucks, PlainSunset, Shouldn’t would be a must in a line up of a gig that I attend. Just when the love for rock, punk, heavy band music started to fade, my love life bloomed.
I met a boy who named himself Cornelius when I was just 19. He is my 1st ever boyfriend. He is my walking music library. We married after dating for 5½ years.
Photography has been my interest by the corner of the eye. Dad has always had cameras of all shapes and sizes. But having one on my own was only achieved when I turned 22. It was a Canon digicam. I started taking photos of events as I got myself involved with Beats Society which was actively having hiphop gigs almost monthly. I never got very serious with the expensive equipment although I got myself a DSRL Canon EOS350D.
I am just snap-happy.
In March 2000, when I was 18, I was diagnosed with having pituitary gland (non-cancerous tumor). I have since been on daily medication of Bromocriptine. I thought my world was going to, well, get unstable. Nevermind that, 2 years ago, I have some problems with my vision. Just 3 weeks ago on 2nd June, I was told I’m having near-ness problems with my vision. My eyes find it very hard to accommodate to near vision. That means to say, I cannot get my eyes to focus on something that is placed very near my nose. I was prescribed to wear reading glass – yes, the ones our grandparents use to read their papers!
I graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Data Communications and Networking in 2002 from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. Prior to that, I had already attained a Diploma in Information Technology (Computer Studies). I aced at my Multimedia module.
I just got confused thereafter as to what I should pursue. The year I graduated, Singapore was having a bad recession and jobs weren’t enough. After almost 6 months of doing part-time jobs while applying for many other full-time jobs, in January 2003 I was recommended by my ex-classmate to work with Pacific Internet (now known as PacNet). After 2 years, I joined HSBC Singapore for another 2 years. After 4 years of working in totally unrelated with my qualifications jobs, I decided to call it quits with the corporate world.
Since September 2007, I have been working from home.
Actually, I had a health scare and was hospitalised in August 2007. But it was a hard decision to make. I’m now working on project basis. My husband helps me every now and then too. He is actually the core of the company as he is the Graphic Designer. I’m just a manager cum web designer. Heh.

Thank you for your time. Cheers!
