When I’m absent for National Day

Happy 44th Birthday, Singapore!

For the first time ever, I’m not in my hometown to watch the NDP (National Day Parade) on TV and witness the fireworks along Esplanade Waterfront.

It does feel a little too quiet here in PJ, Malaysia. I’m used to weekends with the KNKlan and crazy late nights with KKJ. But Shegar has been a very good host to us; making sure we’re comfortable around here.

The past few days have been a little rushy. We went to IKEA to grab some stuff and Tesco for some supermarket sweep. Haha. We’ve got ourselves a stove now so that I can cook! Like I’ve mentioned, Shegar has been at his best being a host.

Anyway, we’ve been sprucing up the studio to make it more like a home. Our first step is to grow a tree in the house. Yes! A tree!
